On June 9, Mil and I attended the official launch of TDW at the national science fiction convention in Melbourne. Hachette Australia ran a combined launch with Marianne de Pierres' new space opera, Dark Space. Very cool. Robert Hood launched TDW in superb style.

Mil and I threw a suitably gothic bash in Brisbane, on June 19, hosted by Kim Wilkins. Burlesque dancer Miss Kitty Conquest performed and Brisbane duo The Isle provided simply stunning music for the evening. About 200 attended.
